In nutritional therapy, we believe that the body has an innate healing capacity.

With the right environment and ingredients, every cell of our bodies is designed to heal and grow...

how much do we invest in our internal lives?

As we all know from experience, life can be unpredictable and stress can feel unavoidable. It’s easy to expend a lot of time and energy trying to control our external lives, focusing on what is most visible: our lifestyle, job, family and so on.

Everything we eat, drink, think and feel contributes to our internal environment.  Some foods, and also some thoughts, trigger stress in the body. This can happen when we drink chemicals and artificial sweeteners as opposed to fresh clean water, or when we think downward spiraling negative thoughts as opposed to positive and self-empowering ones.

Instinctively, our bodies know what is good for us, but acknowledging this when we are stressed is sadly far easier said than done. Instead, in times of turmoil, we find ourselves reaching for sugar, caffeine, alcohol, drugs, and convenience foods in an effort to self-soothe.

Unfortunately, those “temporary fixes” often turn into longer lasting habits.

By learning to tune into our bodies to figure out what they really need, we can make much healthier choices, choices that will help us keep taking better care of ourselves.

With less stress in the body and mind, more energy and resources are freed to go towards growth, repair and healing.

Not only does nourishing our internal environment lead us towards being stronger, more adaptable and resilient, it can also unleash more creativity, optimism and confidence.

how does it work?

Nutritional Therapy, also known as Naturopathic Nutrition, involves supporting the body by cleansing and detoxifying mindfully as well as hydrating and nourishing for repair, growth and healing.

I’ve seen how many diets and food trends can confuse people. One size does not fit all. I believe that everyone is unique and therefore needs an individually tailored approach.

In a Nutritional Therapy session we will sit together and talk about your unique health history and future goals.  I will listen deeply and help educate and guide you as you learn to alleviate internal stress and free up energy for healing.

In simple and attainable steps, I will support you in achieving those goals, physically, mentally and emotionally.  We know these aspects of health to all be connected and important.

The price for a one hour session is £50.  I can see you in person or online and also offer support and encouragement via email in between sessions.
